BEGINNER CONCERTINAS

BEGINNER CONCERTINAS

Description:

Tina Brown and Black.                                   The Concert will come Later

This in the ideal starter concertina for beginners.

The key is the C+G  which is the standard key used in Irish Traditional music.
The concertina comes with 6 fold bellows and adjustable straps and comes in a choice of Soft Bag or Hard Case.

This concertina is very good value for money, easy to play, has a very good sound and this sound improves with time.
I have been selling these Tina’s for the past 15 years and they are the most reliable starter concertinas on the market, They have a good sound and because of the size are suitable for adults and children, You can pay up to €1300 [ and even at that price they are mass produced ]  for a starter instrument but at the end of the day, when you need to do rolls and different ornamentation that is required for competition the teacher will advise to move to the next level which in our case is the Clare.

When moving up to the next level most teachers advise getting a hand made instrument with Rivit action [ never Hook action].

The hand made concertina will always have rivited action and the action from the first button to the last will be set the same. The action in mass produced instruments will vary.
